Research Meets Business: a platform to connect UniTo research and companies
The B2match Research Meets Business platform is now active, designed to facilitate meetings between research groups and companies and to promote the creation of partnerships on innovation projects, including for participation in national and European calls, particularly EIC and EIT – Horizon Europe.
The platform is promoted by the University of Turin as part of the EICgen project funded by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, in collaboration with Fondazione Piemonte Innova, and allows users to submit project ideas, identify potential partners, and organize targeted meetings between research and industry, with the goal of transforming expertise and scientific results into practical collaborations and shared projects.
Research groups of the University of Turin, active in the fields of Biomed, Agrifood, Energy/Environment, and Digital, can register on the platform, submit their project proposals (title, abstract, and keywords), and indicate their availability for meetings with companies. Alternatively, it is possible to browse the profiles of companies already on the platform and directly propose appointments.
Companies can also access the platform to explore research group projects, identify potential areas of collaboration, and arrange B2B meetings, including for the joint development of project proposals.
To present the opportunities and facilitate initial contact between participants, an international launch event is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, during which UniTo research groups will showcase projects and areas of activity to companies.
