Edison proposes the design of an innovative remediation and redevelopment project for a polluted river system, with the goal of improving water quality and restoring the ecosystem’s balance, integrating sustainability, effective technologies, and citizen involvement.
Michelin’s Challenge
Michelin invites the development of intelligent solutions to reduce errors in the tire production process, increasing the quality and safety of the final product. Proposals must be reliable, cost-effective, and easily applicable across multiple production facilities.
Who is it for
The initiative is open to students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, single-cycle, and master’s degree programs at the University of Turin. You can apply individually or in teams of 3 to 5 people, preferably multidisciplinary, which will be validated by the organization.
Participation allows you to obtain an Open Badge and access to thesis, internship, and company visit opportunities, enriching your academic career with concrete experience in close contact with the world of work.The winning team will also be able to participate in an industry event.
Duration
The 30 participants, organized into interdisciplinary groups and supported by dedicated tutors, will take on a challenge between March and April 2026. The program is divided into three main face-to-face sessions – Kick-off, Mentors’ Day, and Pitch Day – accompanied by additional in-depth meetings with company mentors. This is the schedule:
